Stacked

STACKED is a double walled, vase shaped vessel, with a layered woven bottom in purples, greens, and blues.  The inner wall of the basket defines the shape - the outer wall of the basket defines the design.  

This is one of those patterns that looks difficult but really only contains 2 elements that are repeated on top of one another.  Topped with a two/two twill as the design decreases in diameter it's a stunning effect.

Similar to the Double Dog Leg design but so much easier to weave up.  If you have wanted to work with stacks/columns in your basketry this is a great introduction piece to immerse yourself in.

Approximate dimensions:  12" W X 13" H.   9" in diameter at the rim of the basket.
