Jill is retiring - it's the END of the LINE

Believe it or not  - Jill is finally retiring from Jill Choate Basketry effective January 1st.  It has been a long haul this last year with her breast cancer fight and running the business but after 30 years she's ready to go on to her next adventure.

The END of the LINE SALES is the  liquidation of 30 years of basket related stock in the next several weeks.  Tools, molds, reed, dyed reed, finished baskets, and more.  It all starts this week so watch for some really good deals on some high quality items to help you in your basketry journey and save in the process.

The business (JCB) will continue under the capable hands of her daughter (Jennah Lucht) while Jill ventures into the sustainable goods venue - MAD MITT CO (sweater mittens) and CANHULI upcycled hoodies.  The creative flow never stops but sometimes it changes direction.

Here's the latest END of the LINE SALE.

I took a class in Oregon several years ago for a bicycle basket that i gave my sister who had cancer. She loved it on her walker. Two years ago, while cleaning out her house after my brother in law passed, i found the basket. It was a great reminder of a treasure you taught me to make. Thank you, Jill. Best wishes in your new adventures.
