Did you think we faded off into the sunset? Not quite.

Introducing basket retreat 2.0 with Jennah Lucht instructing at the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch near Sandpoint, Idaho. Nestled beneath the Selkirk Mountains and surrounded by tall pines, horses, fellow basket cases and enough color to trick your brain into thinking its on the inside of a kaleidoscope.

This is not your average basket retreat. This is four days and three nights of color, creativity, organized chaos and weaving until your hands are happy and your brain forgets what day it is.

Rebel Reed Retreat is available for both first timers and experienced level weavers. Whether you are, “never made a basket” or ready to level up to “challenge me”. The maximum amount of projects offered to students is two projects over the three day weekend. 

Expect late-night laughter, tangled reed, coffee-fueled creativity, mountain lodge vibes, and tables covered in the kind of baskets that make people stop mid-sentence and stare. Serious weaving. Serious fun. A little bit feral. Exactly the way we like it. 

Side quests are available including horseback rides,  horse drawn wagon ride, and/or full body massage (all optional).  With all these activities you’ll get an idea of what our Northwestern hospitality is like at Rebel Reed Retreat. Max of 20 participants.
